The Member Services Manager will be responsible for:
• Support membership focused staff in growing the organization's membership through new member recruitment, and working with existing membership to help them maximize their member benefits and experience (estimated to be 50% of duties)
The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that events and programing are in line with the strategic plan, annual budget and values of the entire organization.
The Member Services Manager will be a highly visible representative of the HCCC and must always display an exemplary manner of business and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Services Management
- Maintain the membership database to ensure all information is accurate and timely
- Attain expertise in membership management software (currently Growthzone) to run reports, promote events and other analysis as needed
- Assist in prospecting and selling new Chamber memberships to local businesses and organizations
- Assist in promoting sponsorships and marketing opportunities for the purpose of maximizing the member experience and retaining members
- Prepare sales and new member kits and assure all materials are current and available
- Coordinate, set agenda, and attend assigned committee meetings & Board meetings
- Other duties as assigned aimed at aiding in the advancement of the organization's mission
- Maintain all records for assigned events, including registration and attendance report and anticipated revenue/expense report
- Responsible for securing sponsorships for various Chamber events and programs
- Responsible for coordinating the collection of any event fees
- Other duties as assigned aimed at aiding in the advancement of the organization's mission
- Help Maintain internal and external organizational calendar of events and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Qualifications:- Project management capabilities with prior experience in event planning and membership organizations a plus
- A four-year degree in related field a plus and/or relevant experience
- Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
- Must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals
- Able to negotiate with and influence others
- Knowledge of social media management
- Professional written and oral communications skills
- Works well in a team environment and as part of a team
- Technical skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and
LinkedIn
• Technical skills preferred: Growthzone or other membership management CRM systems, E-
mail marketing platforms (i.e. Constant Contact)

- Required to work some early mornings, evenings and weekends to be at Chamber events and to achieve deadlines, complete responsibilities and any additional items prior to event date.
